Staff Needed:
Math Intervention Teachers

Qualifications:

* New Jersey Teacher Certificate/ Highly Qualified in Mathematics and / or New Jersey Math Teacher Certification

* Demonstrate competency in the area of instructional strategies, classroom management, learning, assessments and diagnosis and research related to learning

* Display a complete understanding of the philosophy and models for providing instruction for at risk students

* Utilize and analyze data to identify students abilities, deficiencies, interests, and /or talents to guide the development of an appropriate intervention plan for each individual student as it relates to mathematics

* Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with parents and students to engage them in the education process

* Monitor the effectiveness and pacing of instruction relative to class and individual student proficiency and progress

* Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of child growth and development and how it is related to learning

* Have working knowledge of school improvement models and trends Ability and willingness to work the extended day and extended year program

* Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community

Salary:
As per negotiated contract
