Remote Instructional Systems Designer

Job Description


TCI has an immediate need for a Remote Instructional Systems Designer (CST or EST time zones ONLY). This is not a C2C opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity with possible extensions in 12-month increments (up to 5 years).

SUMMARY

Our client is responsible for ensuring all Judiciary employees receive the support they seek to maximize their performance through expanded awareness, knowledge acquisition, and skill development. Our client will provide professional development and performance enhancement opportunities using a variety of teaching methodologies including brick and mortar in-class instruction, on-line instruction, blended learning which involves a mix of classroom and online learning, webinars, and a variety of digital media instructional materials.

The Remote Instructional Systems Designer will design, develop, and enhance online coursework.

RESPONSIBILITIES Design new and/or revise existing self-paced online courses for adult learners.
Create multimedia and SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) compliant learning using Articulate Storyline 360 and Articulate Rise.

REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 4 years of experience in online curriculum design and development for adult learners.
Minimum of 1 year of experience evaluating the effectiveness of training.
Knowledge of adult learning theory and principles, and best practices for self-paced online eLearning delivery.

Experience with Vyond to create video components within training.

Experience with learning management systems such as Canvas or Blackboard.

Experience with Office 365, including Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word.

Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
Experience meeting deadlines and managing deliverables on multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills.

Ability to accept and address constructive feedback.
Work schedule will be Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm EST.
