Reports To: Head of Revenue

Compensation: $70,000 yearly salary + sales commissions $30,000

Working as a Sales Development Representative at CodePath is a great step towards jump-starting your career in sales. We take a consultative approach to segmenting and prospecting to senior executives across DEI, talent acquisition, and engineering functions within enterprise corporations. You will have the opportunity to develop creative tactics to generate qualified sales opportunities for the revenue organization. Our remit is to uncover the challenges faced by Fortune 500 talent and DEI leaders. As an SDR you will be responsible for partnering with the team on prospecting and qualifying a contact within our target account lists. This will mean developing outbound email campaigns, linkedin marketing and outreach, cold calling, and event strategies; whatever it takes to build a strong pipeline.

We plan to scale the number of clients 5x and need an entrepreneurial candidate who can produce great results with limited resources. You should be ready to jump in and learn while expecting to grow your career as we scale this sales team.

Your long-term focus as an SDR will be to work closely with the target list of accounts and nurturing prospects, resulting in 5-8 qualified opportunities per month. Beyond your individual achievements, you will play a crucial role in supporting and mentoring new hires within the GTM team and collaborating with Account Executives, Client Success, and other functional teams.

You’re the right fit for this quota-driven position if you’re an accomplished person who has done well compared to your peers in previous roles and can prove it with concrete metrics. You are customer-obsessed, creative, and demonstrate strong time management skills in a self-directed setting.

A top candidate does come with B2B sales experience with a proven track record but it’s not required if the candidate has quantifiable examples of proven successes and confidence applying for a role where compensation is based on performance and results. You should thrive in a high-growth environment working as a remote team member.

Key Activities
• Identify high-potential businesses that would be a good fit to work with CodePath across your list of accounts
• Work with the Sales team to develop and lead inbound and outbound campaigns from idea-generation through to qualified call
• Develop strong sales and product knowledge around future of work, skill-based, and early career talent hiring
• Interact with HR, Talent, DEI, and technical decision-makers via Zoom, telephone and email
• Update lead and prospect activity in Salesforce or other prospecting tools to ensure effective lead management
• Set qualified introductory meetings for the Sales team
• Nurture early phase opportunities for future pipeline potential
• Exceed monthly and quarterly opportunity quota
• Build strong relationships with our marketing team and Account Executives, where we pull together to maximize the win for our business
• Invest in your self-development, focusing on the skills and attributes that will make you successful in your core role and get you set for future success within the Sales team

Qualifications
• 1-2 years of B2B customer facing experience is preferred with a professional goal of developing into a modern sales professional
• Ability to develop strong, long-lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• A sense of urgency and ability to manage time and prioritize tasks; accountable to commitments
• Resourcefulness and results driven operating style with experience using technology in previous roles for leverage
• Collaborative and coachable mindset – you should be excited about continuously improving your skills and impact
