WE ARE SEEKING FULL-TIME N.J. CLINICALLY LICENSED CLINICIANS (LCSW OR LPC) TO JOIN OUR AMAZING OUTPATIENT TEAM. THE POSITION OFFERS A WORK/LIFE BALANCE WITH 2 REMOTE DAYS AND 3 IN-PERSON DAYS IN OUR MIDDLESEX BOROUGH LOCATION. NO WEEKENDS/NO ON-CALL. EVENINGS REQUIRED. GENEROUS PAID TIME OFF INCLUDING ANNUAL PAID DAYS TO EARN YOUR LICENSE CEUs. SPANISH-SPEAKING DESIRED.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provides short-term evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, young adults, and families.

• Conducts comprehensive clinical assessments to assess clients’ needs, interprets nature of psychiatric/behavioral health conditions, formulates proper diagnoses, and prescribes course of treatment.

• Participates in treatment team meetings and supervision.

• As part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, collaborates with prescribing practitioners, as well as other clinicians to ensure superior service is provided to each and every child and family.

• Diligently links families to services outside of CCS when needed.

• Creates individual treatment plans and modifies approaches utilizing assessment data from standardized instruments.

• Collaborates with all relevant and related community providers, agencies and schools to support assessment, treatment, service planning, and discharge.

• Serves as a source of information regarding community resources to families.

• Maintains all required documentation according to State of N.J. and CCS Outpatient Standards utilizing the agency’s electronic medical record (EMR)

• Promotes family engagement/participation and utilizes evidence-based practice to inform family therapy modality.

• Meets performance and productivity targets.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology.

  • Current verifiable New Jersey State Clinical License, in good-standing, required (LCSW or LPC).

  • Minimally 2-3 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills and the ability to work well with people are essential.

  • Ability to work evenings to accommodate families’ schedules.

  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to communicate orally with customers, management, and other co-workers is crucial. Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. Hearing and vision within normal ranges are essential.

No heavy lifting is expected. Exertion of up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculators, copiers, and fax machines.
