Job Overview

In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following:

    Priority Areas

    Responsible for the overall operation of the program contract management, to include assessing government relations and support, liability management, personnel, and human relations functions.

  • The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) will provide administrative, technical, and logistical support to the designated Program Manager (PM).

  • Assist with the duties of the PM in their absence.

  • Assist in oversight of government contract relations and support.

  • Program direction and implementation (daily).

  • Timesheet management /Review and approve timesheets as directed.

  • Communicate with employees regarding issues/concerns and assist in resolution or escalation when needed.

  • Maintain compliance with contract policies and procedures.

  • Develop and maintain working relationship with government personnel (daily).

  • Develop and maintain working relationship with Matrix employees at military facilities (daily).

  • Follow-up/process any discrepancies.

  • Assist management with any special projects that ae needed.

  • Resolve job-related performance issues.

  • Participate with the coordination of site visits as well as attend in the absence of PM or as needed.

  • Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision

  • Create and maintain working professional relationships and interactions with Matrix and clients.

  • Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.

  • Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with PM and other employees and organizations.

  • Document, propose, and implement business process improvements.

  • Conduct formal and informal presentations of analysis and recommendations.

  • Assist in the development of policies, procedures, and practices.

  • Conduct/complete special projects and other tasks as assigned.

  • Assist with monthly DHA and PM reporting.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

    Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms

    Hours of Work

  • Full Time

  • Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but employee must be available during -core- work hours and work a minimum of 40 hours per week.

    Travel Requirements

  • Overnight and out of area travel is to be expected, as needed, to Military Treatment Facilities and for corporate events/meetings.

    Requirements

  • Typical years- experience in field – 2 years

  • Prior knowledge in Government contracting and/or military is a plus

  • Prior experience in ATS (i.e. Bullhorn or similar is a plus)

  • Prior experience in staffing/recruitment industry preferred

  • Experience in Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • Strong communications skills

  • Capable of reprioritizing efforts to meet dynamic workload and schedule shift and manage multiple, concurrent projects

    Education

    Associate Degree preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.
