The eCommerce Marketing Specialist will support the Sales team by building a demand generation program and automating workflow to drive sales growth in the eCommerce space. The role will be a strategic player in utilizing technology to support the team in achieving their goals faster and more efficiently. You will implement strategies to increase leads, improve campaigns, and build databases. These strategies must be innovative enough to represent the brand.

Using your strong grasp of e-Commerce tools, strategies, and best practices, you will manage campaigns from concept to execution to analysis. The role requires understanding of CRM and email software along with the basics of HTML design, copy writing, UX design and data reporting.

The eCommerce Marketing Manager will guide the digital lead generation activities and must have a deep knowledge of Amazon marketing campaigns, paid search, AdWords, SEO, SEM and paid social strategies. The role will also need to build lead scoring and nurture campaigns to drive high conversion of leads.

This position can be based full time in our Portland, OR, office or hybrid.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop, implement, track and optimize AMS campaigns.
  • Build effective digital demand and lead generation programs
  • Execute the process of email, SMS, and push deployment
  • Evaluate and present recommendations to execute data driven customer communication strategies and touchpoints
  • Own lifecycle management of customer engagement and retention initiatives
  • Provide measurement, analytics, reporting, acquisition, and direct sales campaign support
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)

Skills you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Design preferred, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years’ experience managing digital marketing programs, with proven results in digital strategy and paid advertising within the e-commerce space.
  • Experience in digital lead generation activities
  • Must have experience managing and executing pay-per-click advertising campaigns on Amazon, Google, or a similar platform
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • 3+ years’ CRM marketing experience, including email marketing and project management
  • Experience with email campaign management tools
  • Business acumen to develop market strategies.
  • An understanding of consumer psychology and behavior.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with interdepartmental disciplines.
  • Project management skills that develop and follow a roadmap to better client engagement.
  • Digital expertise in web, email, social media, other digital platforms
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Savvy technologists, but also organized enough to not need technology to move projects forward.
  • Flexibility to adapt to fickle consumer behavior.
  • Analytical and driven by data metrics.

Experience with any of the following is highly desirable:

  • Act-On marketing automation
  • HTML skills to update templated sites and create micro-sites
  • Building and implementing new marketing programs
