DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position ensures that the SERS Strategic Plan is delivered and executed effectively and efficiently. This is accomplished by leading teams to deliver plan-related projects that span across one or more business areas and independently planning and implementing processes in a manner that produces substantive forward motion on the Strategic Plan.

In this role you will participate in strategic decision making and will manage a wide portfolio of projects from initiation to completion that support the strategic plan. You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables are met and projects succeed. You also will facilitate the Strategic Plan executive steering committee; work closely with business areas to confirm key performance indicators and to establish the performance matrix; provide executive leaders and stakeholders with regular progress updates; and provide ongoing guidance, mentoring, feedback, and motivation to project teams to ensure competent performance while adhering to SERS policies and procedures. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
• Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week, Monday through Friday.
• Work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. unpaid meal period.
• Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time (hybrid telework schedule), depending on operational needs. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. Otherwise, you must work on-site at the work location specified in this job posting.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
• One year as a Program Analyst 2; or
• Three years of analytical experience, two of which include professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations, and a bachelor’s degree; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.
