Job description: The Opportunity Delaware North Global Headquarters is hiring a Senior Project Manager to join our business relationship management team As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, standards, architecture, and department commitments. This includes partnering with a wide variety of business units and programs, managing scope, cost, schedule, and quality assurance, creating and maintaining project plans, facilitating risk, change, and integration management, and tracking, monitoring, and recording validation from the project teams. We are seeking candidates located in Buffalo, NY or Atlanta, GA, but will consider Remote.

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Salary: $79800 – $107700 / year

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects including Enterprise Performance Management systems and other enterprise applications.
  • Forecast resource allocation requirements: define project tasks and resource requirements as key inputs into weekly IT forecast meetings.
  • Define the responsibilities of parties involved in the project including customers, management, IT management, project team, vendors, and others affected by the project.
  • Comply and enforce IT and company-wide policies and procedures.
  • Execute project initiatives driving successful project completion including organizing and conducting project team meetings, project kick-off meetings, and setting expectations related to team meetings with sub-teams.
  • Identify, track, monitor, escalate and communicate project-related issues, scope changes, variances, and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of IT projects.
  • Develop risk plans, facilitate contingency plan actions, and conduct regular risk analysis reviews.
  • Develop proposed budgets and manage operational costs; conduct near and long-term financial forecasts for the expanded functionality user base.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 8 to 12 years of project management experience or equivalent preferred; PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience with or knowledge of enterprise performance management systems and/or finance planning & consolidation processes and systems.
  • Knowledge of the theoretical and practical application of program project management with knowledge of program and project management techniques and tools.
  • Direct work experience in program and project management capacity.
  • Proven experience in risk identification, management, mitigation, and change management.
  • Familiarity with data and analytics projects, including data management, analytics development, visualization capabilities, and AI/ML methodologies.
  • Experience with data and analytics tools like Tableau, R, Python, SQL, Alteryx, Qlik, PowerBI, and TAMR
  • Ability to travel 10 percent and work extended hours with increased travel during times of executing high-priority or strategic initiatives
