As a Data Apprentice, you will be an essential part of the team, responsible for gathering and collecting data, cleansing data-sets, analysing data and making decisions on the back of it, generating reports, creating visulisations and so much more to enhance your skills to reach your true potential!

In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Data Essentials qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Data Collection:

    Gathering data from external sources such as databases, spreadsheets, APIs, and other sources relevant to the project.

  • Data Cleaning and Processing:

    Ensuring that collected data is accurate, error free and consistent. This may involve tasks such as removing duplicates, handling missing values, and standardising formats.

  • Data Analysis:

    Conducting basic data analysis using statistical methods and data visualisation techniques.

  • Report Generation:

    Preparing reports, summaries, and visualisations of the analysis findings to present to wider teams.

  • Data Interpretation:

    Interpreting the results of the analysis and providing insights or recommendations based on the findings.

  • Collaboration:

    Working with other team members around the business to understand project requirements and deliverables.

  • Communication:

    Effectively communicating with team members to understand requirements, provide updates on progress, and explain analysis findings in a clear and understandable manner.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours&

Benefits:

  • Salary – £15,000
  • Monday Friday 8.30 am to 5.30 pm
  • Occasional early finishes
  • 20 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays
  • Additional 1 day holiday per year of employment
  • Get your birthday off after 1 year of service
  • Q Review foreign trip (city break, or abroad somewhere) 4 chances in a year
  • Progression onto the level 4 programme and a full-time role after completion

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

  • A strong passion for Data
  • Understanding why Data is important to businesses
  • Confident using Excel
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Grade 4/C in Math’s & English GCSE
