Social Media Manager, Innovation & Development

We are currently seeking a Social Media Manager, Innovation & Development to join our team.

Summary

This position is responsible for unifying the Insperity brand by generating awareness across various social media platforms. The Social Media Manager will also be responsible for developing and publishing social media content that will support marketing on a Corporate level. The position will participate in implementing social media strategies and tactics that will help develop brand awareness, build customer loyalty, and aid sales in lead generation.

Essential Functions

Under general supervision and much decision-making:

• Writes social media content that is to be used company-wide and by Authority Marketing.
• Creates engaging original content for B2B engagement.
• Supports in-depth research using internal and external resources to ensure messaging attracts the Company’s target audience.
• Ensures social media content aligns with communication efforts throughout the organization.
• Oversees the design, development, and execution of innovative social media campaigns including the summary of tracking and reporting campaign results.
• Tracks and reports social media effectiveness including but not limited to visibility engagement and total audience reach.
• Monitors social media mentions and runs competitive analysis reports against competitors.
• Helps manage budgets allocated to promoting or boosting social media content.
• Collaborates with key internal stakeholders to create content and execute marketing campaigns.
• Provides support for social media best practices and social media tool integration.
• Collaborates and works side-by-side with a multi-discipline team (designers, developers, project managers, analysts, etc.) in a team format.
• Creates and executes social media strategies for both on-site and virtual events including but not limited to conferences, speaking events, golf tournaments, and other Insperity sponsored activities.

Education/Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Mass Communications, or a related field is required.
• Three to five years of related experience is required.

Knowledge/Skills

• Experience building social media strategy and posting cadence.
• Familiar with marketing tools such as: google analytics, owler, hoostsuite, and buffer.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their post ranking algorithms.
• Excellent writing skills, particularly geared towards marketing, sales, and B2B lead generation content.
• Strong knowledge of B2B website content development.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Solid understanding of web metrics.
