Position reports to: VP Software Engineering

Job Summary:

Manage engineers and data processors to ensure the smooth operation of data ingestion, translation and warehousing. This role is critical in ensuring best practices are applied to the company’s data schema to power advanced clinical targeting and other data science use cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of data integration, translation, transformation, and API engineers to ensure best-in-class data operations
  • Optimize the data structure and schema to power future clinical use cases powered off of our data models
  • Ensure flawless end-to-end execution of our data ingestion protocols and processes while introducing system monitoring dashboards to problem spot and triage
  • Partner with product, client, sales and network teams to identify opportunities that deliver outsized customer impact and create new revenue streams

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in data-oriented technology and product roles
  • 5+ years of experience within the healthcare industry
  • 5+ years of experience managing data teams
  • Solid understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), HL7, FHIR, CSV healthcare formats in relation to Eligibility, Claims, Patients, Observations, etc.
  • Experience working with Healthcare integration engines like Mirth Connect, Corepoint, Rhapsody, Pilotfish, etc.
  • Working knowledge of: visualization tools, data engineering languages (python & r), big data tools and warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.)
  • COVID-19 vaccination required
