UnitedHealth Group’s Global Mobility, Immigration and Tax team (GMIT) has an opening for a Program Manager supporting U.S. Immigration. The U.S. Immigration Program Manager partners with internal stakeholders and outside counsel to ensure successful end-to-end case management of company sponsored work authorization and permanent residency processes across the enterprise.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical immigration case consultations, provide guidance and education on GMIT best practices and policies to internal stakeholders

  • Provide consultative guidance including assessing visa eligibility. Partner with immigration counsel to provide immediate and long-term strategic case recommendations

  • Partner with managers, talent acquisition, people business partners, business partners and other internal stakeholders to develop case level sponsorship strategies

  • Prepare cost projections and ensure successful end-to-end case execution through GMIT’s case management software

  • Create reports and deliver insights to business partners on the current state of sponsorship including trends and forecasting to support business sponsorship decisions

  • Collaborate and consult with immigration counsel, proactively ensure compliance across all U.S. immigration processes

  • Develop and deliver effective internal stakeholder facing education materials including presentations, guides and written communications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of in-house immigration program manager experience OR 5+ years of progressive paralegal experience supporting U.S. immigration processes

  • Demonstrated intermediate MS Office proficiency, including utilizing v-look ups, pivot tables to analyze large amounts of report data

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $70,200 to $137,800 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
