The Producer Administration team is part of M&R Sales Technology, is dedicated to ensuring that agent enablement suite of tools, specifically the commissioning tool is continuously delivering enhancements to address ever changing environment for agent compensation. The Associate Director provides thought leadership, professional expertise, and effective roadmap management as it relates to business priorities. Leading by example, a successful candidate will foster shoulder-to-shoulder collaboration with business and technology teams, think critically, communicate effectively, have great technical and functional skills, and know how to effectively use resources.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for overall success of Incentive Compensation Management business team, cross-team collaboration with key business partners to negotiate win-win outcomes. Other primary responsibilities include:

  • Day-to-day management of the ICM team, including staff assignments and talent growth. Overall owner of work that is committed to be delivered on agreed upon timeframe

  • Effectively manage domain roadmap, dynamically driving work through delivery

  • Effectively cultivate business relationships with key business stakeholders and IT delivery partners, while resolving any incongruences

  • Serve as a thought leader to guide the team in critical business conversations

  • Demonstrate organizational skills and ability to find common ground to effectively move projects forward

  • Manage staff of four FTE’s that consists of project managers and business analysts

  • Manage seasonal/ad hoc contractors as dictated by peak season demands

  • Owner of holistic seasonal readiness activities

  • Maintain a library of system documentation, serve as a SME on how the tool works

  • Coordinate with adjacent systems and teams to ensure enhancements are accounted for and do not cause downstream issues

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of agent commissioning tool experience

  • 5+ years of vendor coordination experience that includes cross-collaboration with internal technology and business teams

  • 5+ years of experience gathering, analyzing, and communicating complex information

  • 3+ years project or program management, with focus in coordinating multiple resources and managing against timelines and budgets

  • 2+ years of experience in people leadership

  • Demonstrated professional verbal and written communication with experience presenting to leaders

  • Ability to communicate effectively and accurately in writing and verbally to prospects, clients, and other staff

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ year of commissioning tool experience using SAP products

  • 2+ years of mentorship and/coaching experience

  • Experience with Medicare

  • Experience with technical developers & product management/support

  • Knowledge of commissioning processes

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $104,700 to $190,400 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
