Job description: Overview

The Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of Network and/or Application Infrastructure with expertise in the strategy, design, development, and implementation of large-scale projects in an Global Entreprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of the infrastructure life cycle for Enterprise Network, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance
• Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity
• Plan and implement network changes in a high availability environment.
• Work with deployment teams and data center operations providing support during new capacity additions and changes on the Enterprise network.
• Maximizing network performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
• Installing and configuring Infrastructure equipment
• Creating firewalls and updating virus protection software and data security systems to keep data and communications protected
• Troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating Infrastructure issues to other employees and management
• Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems
• Installing and maintaining operating environments.
• Monitoring these operating environments.
• Updating any software and hardware where necessary.

Qualifications

Tech School / Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred; 3-5 or more years related experience, of which should be with hands on architecting, designing, developing, and implementing Infrastructure solutions; or equivalent combination of education and experience. •Knowledge of Lean / Agile development methodologies•Critical thinker and problem-solving skills•Team player•Good time-management skills•Great interpersonal and communication skills•Experience administering physical, virtual, and network computing environments •Experience with manufacturing IT systems / solutions Strong grasp of Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD administration •Scripting knowledge via PowerShell •Strong ability to troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365, Exchange Online email deliverability issues, anti-spam solutions •Ability to support and resolve a wide range of daily technical issues; eagerness to investigate and learn new technologies •Ability to work and communicate within a global, culturally diverse, and fast-paced team environment •Network Infrastructure related project management and architecture design•Network performance monitoring and problem troubleshooting•Evidence of developing innovative solutions •Excellent verbal and written communication skills•Expertise in network, server virtualization, web servers We are an Equal Opportunity employer.
