This position will be reporting to the Supervisor of the Creative Services team where you will be creating design solutions to support our bidding teams across a range of complex and diverse proposals. The Creative Services team is a fast-paced environment supporting the development of proposal graphics, presentations, conference/tradeshow materials, advertisements, posters, slicks, brochures, online platforms, and desktop publishing with strict deadlines. You will be collaborating closely with a team of Subject Matter Experts, Business Development Coordinators, and other Designers to create supporting documents for production and submittals.

Our team/this position is remotely based offering full-time telework/telecommuting supporting core east coast hours.

Responsibilities of this Role:

  • Provide document layout and formatting for sales proposals and presentations and related materials, including the use of complex desktop publishing techniques while adhering to specific guidelines.

  • Creating compelling and engaging graphics to communicate key messages whilst keeping within the branding guidelines.

  • Uses scanner to digitally capture, store, and archive documents; integrates scans into several software packages and calibrates scans to specifications.

  • Coordinates production of documents using electronic and traditional publishing techniques. Communicates with internal/external vendors in the production of documents, as required.

  • Ensures that all sales documents comply with the Jacobs Branding Guidelines.

Here’s what you’ll need :

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2 – 3 years of related experience. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Demonstrated capability in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) with proficiency in document layout and publishing while adhering to specific guidelines.

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)

  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including document layout, branding, and marketing.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and other languages, as applicable.

  • Work may be required after normal hours or weekends with short notice. Must also be willing to travel if required.

Typical salary range for this position is 61,400 to 75,000 and is commensurate with experience relative to the position. For “remote” positions, salary to be offered is geographic dependent.
