PROGRAM ANALYST SENIOR ADVISOR
Job Description:
GDIT is seeking a Senior Program Analyst to support the DoD E-ICAM Program. As a Senior Program Analyst you will perform complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of ICAM PMO. You will also provide technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned projects and tasks. You will work closely with internal and external engineering teams, development, integration, and program stakeholders ensuring activities are performed in accordance with program objectives, policies, and regulations, and requirements.
How the Sr. Program Analyst will make an impact:
Provide financial analysis support to Program Managers and Finance Leadership in the areas of program cost analysis, cost estimating, gross margin analysis, and variances analysis/reporting
Monitor costs on a weekly basis ensuring that actuals are within budget and charged to the correct cost accounts
Responsible for creating, updating, coordinating, and analyzing project data, plans, and timelines, and provide suggestions on risk mitigation
Works closely with team leaders to build, evaluate, and optimize project & task plans
Maintain program tasks on a timely basis with accurate revenue recognition, invoicing, cost, funding, gross margins, cash flow, and programmatic risks
Participate in a cross-functional team environment in development requiring critical and lateral thinking with the ability to make sound decisions
Support the development of monthly financial status reports, monthly/quarterly Estimate at Completes (EACs), funding tracking reports, and internal financial reporting
Work with managers and front-line staff of assigned programs to develop and implement a system of continuous improvement (CI) and quality assurance (QA) for which they will be responsible for maintaining
Attend and participate in meetings related to ICAM operations, maintenance activities, TEMs, Scrums, etc. as necessary
Respond to ad hoc requests from the Management team accordingly
Participate in special projects as assigned
What you’ll need to be successful:
Comprehensive work experience as a Project Manager or Project Integrator with demonstrated IT history with initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing activities. Track, report and provide alternatives resulting from changes with cost, time and scope of a project.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Effective communication skills.
Must demonstrate Project Management fundamentals utilizing approved tools and techniques in the execution of awarded IT activities to include scheduling, execution and monitoring/controlling
Must possess excellent time management skills and the drive to work unsupervised or with a small team
Must be a team player and be willing to both share knowledge and learn from others to ensure the team’s success
Must be able to manage priorities across multiple projects
Must be able to work within tight schedule timelines while delivering high quality work products
Demonstrated experience in the area of Requirements Management – activities include user engagement to perform requirement elicitation and derivation, generation of formal requirement documents, and verification activities to close-out project requirements
Desired Skills:
Experience in SharePoint use and administration
Experience managing project schedules
Identify areas of gaps and inefficiencies, provide specific inputs and recommendations, and work hand in hand with the government client to obtain support and authorization for delivering solutions
Identify and document requirements changes and assess their impacts on the program baseline requirements
Lead the development and enhancement of lifecycle artifacts required to be developed during the SE lifecycle (example artifacts include ROMs, project plans, project schedules, requirements plan such as SRDs, detailed design documents, CONOPs, test plans, SEMPs, transition activity plans, etc.)
Lead the identification, baselining, and management of all project change requirements for all Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Change Requests (CRQs)
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
