Position Summary

This is an advanced specialized individual contributor position. Responsible for the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) function for the applications, technologies, and workflows utilized by Pharmacy Operations; defines and executes the UAT test strategy and provides guidance for the prioritization of UAT testing initiatives in support of new or changing business objectives.

What you will do

  • Analyze use cases and requirements documents to identify appropriate test scenarios designed to validate end user testing and uncover issues prior to deployment.

  • Coordinate with IT Project Management to define and negotiate the testing period required; single point of contact with the IT PMO for all assigned projects.

  • Create step by step test scenarios and cases, and their related data requirements.

  • Coordinate testing with Pharmacy Operations resources assigned to execute UAT test cases.

  • Follow methodology for building and executing test plans, documenting accurate and detailed results

  • Execution of UAT test cases as needed to support unique test scenarios and other planning constraints

  • Provide user experience subject matter expertise during project requirements meetings and supports use case development, problem analysis, solution validation, and stakeholder engagement processes for assigned projects.

  • Evaluates the results and outcomes of UAT execution; provides subject matter expertise and determines the efficacy of the test strategy, recommending additional or repeated testing to ensure the stakeholder needs are thoroughly met.

  • Leading through others: execution of UAT test cases by Pharmacy Operations. During the test period, provides direct leadership of resources within stakeholder organizations required by a test strategy, ex.: Customer Care, Mail and Specialty Ops, Clinical Ops, Benefits, Disease Mgmt, IT, Product Development, Finance, HR, Procurement, and other corporate organizations, as well as external vendor partners as needed. Coordinate with Operations Resource Planning to obtain the necessary resources to complete the test plan.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of user testing experience with the systems supported or 4 years experience within an equivalent testing function.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Equivalence preferred in Health Care IT or User Testing.

  • SPRx or Accordant experience

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree and/or industry certification

Education

  • High School Diploma

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,700.00 – $102,000.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
