Supplemental Information

Teachers’ Retirement System of Louisiana is seeking a highly motivated college student to provide administrative support to the Retirement Department.

This position provides clerical support by using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access). Processes daily mail, screen telephone calls, assists the receptionist’s desk when necessary.

Civil Service testis required to qualify for this unclassified position.

Student must be enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university and must maintain full-time status in order to retain eligibility for continued employment as a student worker.

Verification of full-time student status must be provided to the Human Resources office upon hire and at the beginning of each Spring and Fall semester. Verification must be on official university letterhead and include the student’s name, status, number of hours enrolled, and classification.

Students should be able to workat least 15-25 hours per week.

The ideal applicant will possess strong communication, organization, and time management skills, as well as the ability to display proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
