The Parent Mentor provides in-home services to parents/families and addresses such topics as parenting skills, behavior modification techniques, anger and stress management, basic life skills, and family budgeting skills.

SALARY: $17.31 per hour

Plus $1000 increases every six months for the first two years of employment!

OFFICE LOCATION: Position is based at the Kenosha County Job Center with flexibility to work primarily remote. Hybrid model of time spent at the office/remote, within clients’ homes, and out in the community.

  • Formulate, implement, evaluate and review family treatment plans.
  • Mentor families in accordance with their treatment plans.
  • Exercise judgment to intervene as an advocate for clients in emergency and crisis situations.
  • Provide parenting education, support, and advocacy to program clientele through individual, family, and group work.
  • Attend client court proceedings and provide updates on treatment progress, as required.
  • Organize and facilitate structured group, individual and/or family activities.


  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or other related field. Current students are welcome to apply.
