Job Description What you will do Supervises and develops multi-platform converged enterprise engineering solutions targeted to meet existing, enhanced, and new platform solutions for business and infrastructure services. Leads, directs, or recommends cross-functional team targeted for system enhancements for system performance, reliability, scalability, and capacity. Evaluates product and service solutions. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience At least 7 years of experience within a total information technology (IT) environment At least 7 years of experience with the design, development and support of technology infrastructure Preferred Skills/Experience Extensive knowledge on installing, supporting, configuring IBMRedHat OpenShift Linux OS systems, Core OS, containers, Kubernetes and underline hardware Prefer 10+ years of experience with Linux systems performance tuning, troubleshooting and backup/recovery Deep understanding of Linux networking: Iptables, Firewall, TCP/IP, UDP etc. Strong knowledge of virtualization systems, VMware, ESXI, vSphere client, vMotion, KVM Extensive knowledge configuring and troubleshooting OS Multipathing /HBA to SAN connected storage Strong experience on HA and clustering solution, such as Oracle RAC clusters, Veritas clusters, Redhat HA clusters and HADR clusters Experience on automating tasks with Shell script, Python etc. Extensive experience on configuration management with Ansible, Salt stack, puppet, Chef, Jenkins Extensive experience using source control tools, such as GitLab, GitHub, & Bitbucket Extensive experience using CI/CD tools and methods such as Jenkins to deploy and manage infrastructure Strong customer service and communications skills, both oral and written with the ability to build relationships at all levels Proven project management skills in setting priorities to meet project deadlines Strong analysis and critical thinking skills with ability to problem solve AWS or Azure Cloud infrastructure experience preferred The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there’s an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days. The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
