In this role, the National Warehouse Operations Committee Project Assistant will be responsible for assisting executive managers with project execution that will impact all operating warehouses across the U.Assistants will handle administrative tasks and organizing project related documentation, collaborate with cross functional teams, manage data entry and maintain accurate records of project related progress. The ideal candidate will have strong written communication skills, experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and strong attention to detail.
Position

This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 2 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 2 days per week; work in-office at least 3 days per week).
Handles administrative requests and queries from leadership.

• Coordinates department meetings and takes detailed minutes, writing and distributing emails, memos, and other information within the department as necessary.

• Assists in creating, editing, and reviewing department communication for various audiences, ensuring accurate content and timely distribution.

• Assists with database management, report generation and tracking spreadsheets.

• Identifies project issues and recommends corrective action as appropriate.

• Recommends process improvements for areas of responsibility.

• Develops informative and creative presentations, as needed.

• Assists their direct leader in implementation and rollouts of team projects.

• Organizes project documents and files.

• Conducts training and cross-training of knowledge and expertise within area of responsibility.

• Performs all assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable policies and procedures.

• Maintains confidentiality and privacy of employee and company sensitive data.

• Proficient Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.

• Proficiency in typing and data entry.

• Analyzes and interprets data.

• Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
