Job Description

MindPoint Group is seeking an experienced and proven strategic thinking Commercial Sales Executive who has a proven sales record to grow our commercial business. The Commercial Sales Lead is responsible for the full sales lifecycle of cybersecurity productized services, including campaign creation and management. The ideal candidate must have an entrepreneurial drive and excitement to make a direct contribution to the growth of this dynamic business, working across the company alongside other motivated colleagues. This position is a direct report to the Sr. Manager of Commercial Sales.

The Commercial Sales Executive is responsible for development of a sales pipeline and lead business development efforts from the full sales lifecycle of lead assessment, campaign creation, and management through sales execution.

  • Generates and develops new business to meet specified goals

  • Maintains and nurtures new and existing client relationships

  • Analyzes existing and anticipated client needs and promote company services to fill such requirements

  • Manages consistent growth within a particular client base

  • Develops and implements a sales action plan with objectives and strategies to increase revenue and aggressively acquire new accounts

  • Grows existing accounts and prospective clients to full potential and generates maximum revenue on a long-term basis

  • Attends conventions, conferences, and trade shows as needed; prepares post-event reports and analysis

  • Regularly interacts with executives of major and prospective clients

  • Create and manage sales campaigns that allow for achievement of 2024 growth goals

  • Support effort to launch and sell -productized services- with commercial sector focus – create and implement development of go-to-market strategy for these services

  • Identify and align appropriate firm resources to pursue, win, and manage business opportunities

  • Maintain CRM and pipeline is up-to-date


US Citizenship Required

What skills do you need?

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor-s Degree or 4 years applicable experience in lieu of

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in proven growth sales in Cyber Security

  • Desired proficiency and/or usage with Salesforce, LinkedIN, Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, 6Sense, Microsoft Office Professional Suite, Atlassian JIRA, and Confluence software tools

  • Ability to create sales results in a complex sales environment.

  • Strong sales experience in professional services and relevant Cyber Security environments

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Well-developed negotiation, project, and account management skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of an organization

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

  • Creative, flexible, and innovative team player

  • Excellent problem-resolution and consultative sales skills

  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $80-100k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
