The Team
The MI Team is primarily based in Manchester. Theteam have been predominantly focused on the Casualty service lines however the Firm intends to expand the service delivery of MI to all service lines and departments in the UK and globally where there is a MI aspect to client account management.
Movement within the team has led to a vacancy for an MI Data Administrator. The MI Data Administrator is an entry level role within the MI team yet is key to supporting the team and the wider business. The role will focus on the internal operational and data governance aspects of the MI team function to ensure the MI Analysts have a robust cross client data set to use for external market analytics and internal operational performance.
It will release capacity for the MI Analysts by supporting them in process driven aspects of MI service delivery. In addition, it will act as the central point for the business for ad hoc MI requests.
As the business transitions from manually generated push reports to dashboard self-service reports it is anticipated this role will support this transition and proactively seek out new ways of working.
The Role
The role is seen as a development role within the MI team and potentially the wider Data & Analytics team, as such it is expected that the individual will be able to quickly take ownership of tasks assigned and seek progression via supporting MI service delivery and strategic projects.
This role would be ideally suited to a candidate with a legal background who wants to develop a career in data & analytics or a data science/ analytics graduate who is looking for their first role in Industry.
Key Responsibilities
Support the efficient management of files via creation of internal operational reports, to feed into self-service dashboards
Run and deliver pre-designed and / or automated low level Client MI reports under the supervision of the MI Analyst
Provide the main resource for picking up or being allocated adhoc queries which come into the MI team. Develop the skills to be able respond to ad hoc queries independently
Develop relationships with colleagues in the MI Team, seeking out peer reviews to ensure right first-time service delivery
Support process improvements, providing administrative assistance with various projects
Communication: maintaining open and appropriate communication lines with internal stakeholders to ensure the Clients and Firm’s needs are met.
Understand Clydes defined generic data structure and client additional data fields with regards to how they relate to the legal working processes
Gain a working knowledge of the main Case Management Systems with regards to data capture to aid collaboration with the business and the MI Team
Any other tasks as and when required
