The Role

Are you motivated by driving business outcomes and interested in partnering closely with the business leadership in Global Partner Solutions within Lumen? Does working in a fast-paced environment with agility sound exciting?

We’re hiring for a Senior Manager role within the Business Finance organization to drive the end-to-end finance engagement with the Global Partner Solutions organization. This role will be a trusted advisor supporting the SVP – GPS and their leadership team. The overriding objective is to drive value creation by partnering with the business/respective finance support teams and driving performance through a rigorous, constructive assessment of operating strategies and results.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Lead a finance team that will support GPS and serve as a cultural catalyst driving a

  • growth mindset within the finance org. Develop and invest in your team growing their

  • skillsets and building a high performing team

  • · Understand the business levers and drivers of performance across key areas of the

  • business, including the indirect and direct partner trends

  • · Partner with the Director – Central FP&A to manage the finance ROB: close, budgeting, forecasting, etc. for GPS

  • · Provide end-to-end FP&A support for investment decisions / ROI analysis

  • · Partner with the SVP GPS to drive the strategy for the partner model from thought leadership on the engagement models with partners to compensation strategy, etc. working across AGT and Lumen to land the execution

  • · Proactively seek ways to drive efficiencies / scale broadly across your Finance team

  • · Strong collaborator, storyteller and ability to work across teams efficiently

  • · Bachelors’ degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field

  • · 5+ years of related experience

  • · Recognizable as a leader, possessing outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Strong track record of developing self and others as a people leader.


The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee’s primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$111480 – $148630 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.

$117340 – $156450 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.

$123210 – $164280 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.

$129080 – $172100 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.

As with the pay range variety that’s based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
