Customer Support Services (CSS) is the centralized customer service function for the U.S. Customer Experience team managing sales order management functions on behalf of all Johnson & Johnson franchises.

The Specialist will be responsible for executing and supporting regional operations in the areas of Document Management, Quality, Compliance, and SOX Reporting, providing outstanding advisory and analytical support to customers and business partners, enabling the execution of complaints and of critical customer focused operations, data collection, and validation, reporting, and knowing where to obtain the data and provide relevant insights with recommendations which enables management to make strategic decisions.

The Specialist will also support Deliver NA Medical Device CSS Quality and Compliance Sr. Specialist with managing departmental/Regional Change Control documentation and results to ensure on-time completion; with documentation management, Quality, Job Function Curriculum (JFC); on-time completion of Annual Training Record Review (ATRR) and lead on-time completion of controlled document periodic review; Key Performance Indicators for On-Time Periodic Review; with develop, implement, and evaluate metrics with important insights for customer service in the areas of Document Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and continually work within the parameters established by a risk-based Quality Management System framework.
  • Serve as the CSS Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding SOX financial reporting, Quality and Compliance.
  • Ensure readiness to deliver exemplary customer service in an efficient, quality driven manner while adhering to standard business procedures.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate metrics with relevant insights for customer service in the areas of Quality and Compliance, and Sox financial reporting to drive efficiency, productivity, and operational improvements.
  • Own data reporting in the areas of Sox Financial Reporting, Quality and Compliance.
  • Perform mentoring to coach Associates regarding error reduction and SOX reporting requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits to verify that financial, regulatory, and quality requirements have been met.
  • Benchmark internally and externally, regionally and globally, to gather, share, and implement standard methodologies accordingly.
  • Assist CSS Senior Leaders with development and implementation of organizational and strategic plans designed to improve efficiency of department processes, using technology and other platforms to standardize, leverage and/or eliminate manual interactions wherever possible.
  • Lead and manage projects related to broader Supply Chain initiatives and provide CSS Quality & Compliance expertise, as required.
  • Your Key Performance Indicators for this role include timely completion/compliance with SOX reporting.
  • Support change strategies by applying change management principles and tools.
  • Support the development and maintenance of internal resources to provide accurate SOX financial, Quality, and Compliance information.
  • Use continuous improvement tools and methodology, including Process Excellence, LEAN, and project management, to identify, evaluate, challenge, develop solutions, and optimize business processes that drive measurable improvement.
  • Drive / support regional and global CSS projects for the US region using FPX methodology, tools and standard processes. Conducts lessons learned post-implementation and finds opportunities to continuously improve.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is helpful

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum 2-4 Years Work Experience years with related business experience
  • Work experience in Quality, Compliance, Document Management/Control, Technical Writing, or Supply Chain position
  • Experience within a regulated, fast-paced business environment
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated time-management skills with consistent track record to balance multiple priorities and due dates, ability to act with a sense of urgency, and deliver expected/exceeding results
  • Demonstrated process, problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and meticulous skills

Preferred:

  • Medical Device or Pharmaceutical experience
  • Leadership experience in project management
  • Experience with the administration of electronic document management systems
  • Knowledge of Quality System processes and applicable regulations
  • Strong interpersonal skills, business collaborating, influencing, and negotiating skills to develop and maintain effective business partnerships
  • Working understanding of Process Excellence/LEAN methodology and/or certification
  • Business knowledge of other J&J Supply Chain functional areas and end-to-end process understanding
  • Ability to think strategically, develop deep insights into the needs of our patients, customers, markets and communities, and create action plans to address accordingly

  • Requires up to 10% domestic travel

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
