Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Project Manager to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) OI&T IO OTG team. This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities

Provide project and Scrum management for Operations Triage Group (OTG) activities and projects using Agile methodologies. This includes the development and management of charters, process improvement recommendation documents, and presentations, memorandums of understandings / memorandums of agreements, and Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Responsible for managing Action Items and following up with action owners to ensure resolution.

  • Maintain various program and project documents, data, processes, and artifacts in accordance with VA directives.

  • Store Government and Contractor developed official program data, allowing audit trails and easy, logical retrieval on demand.

  • Promptly respond to requests from VA for document retrieval and ad hoc reports, providing documents as required within one business day of request.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s with 10+ years experience

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience managing Information Technology related projects.

  • Well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies.

  • Experience in tracking schedule and performance progress.

  • Able to identify and mitigate risks.

  • Experience with project management or issue management software (i.e., JIRA, ServiceNow, Sharepoint).

  • Experience with Microsoft office, MS TEAMS, workflows and workflow management.

  • Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust Clearance

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range

USD $82,000.00 – USD $95,000.00 /Yr.
