Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 12 years of experience in Project Management, Consulting, HR, or Business Strategy and Operations
  • 5 years of experience in DEI efforts at scale, with expertise in racial and social equity
  • Experience in advising, influencing, and partnering with executives to solve for the collective outcome

Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Social Sciences with a focus on Race and Social Power, Organizational Development with a focus on Equity or Ethnic Studies, or a relevant field
  • Experience in working cross-functionally to manage multiple projects, workstreams, and initiatives in a matrixed environment
  • Knowledge of innovation, systems thinking, and change management
  • Ability to make selections when presented with challenges and/or multiple options to progress
  • Exceptional people management, partnership, and influencing skills to drive complex work and remove roadblocks without formal authority
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills

Additional Information:

(Colorado only*) Minimum full-time salary range between $220,000 – $237,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

*Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired into our offices in Colorado.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional group of stakeholders ensuring the right project structure, governance, and resource allocation to deliver Racial Equity Commitments
  • Manage a team to maintain a portfolio view of all projects and an integrated roadmap of milestones, ensure appropriate accountability for each commitment, oversee OKR, and impact reporting, while tracking and addressing risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies
  • Support global partners in strengthening localized Racial Equity strategy and executing engagement plans for key stakeholders
  • Drive the strategy to achieve company-wide understanding of Googler’s holistic racial equity strategy in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Represent the Racial Equity portfolio in multiple settings across the company, including executive level presentations
