To gather and input digital data relating to Teignbridge assets. To include data cleansing of information in our Asset Management system and analysing information from paper documents and transferring these into a digital format.
To work with others to consolidate other related data sources.
1. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES
a) To enter and check the accuracy of existing digital data in our Asset Management system.
b) To liaise with others in the organisation to understand where other data sources are kept, how these are updated and maintained.
2. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
a) The ability to work methodically and to a high degree of accuracy
Experience of using a range of IT packages including Microsoft 365.
Experience with the use of databases and data input.
d) Excellent communication skills
e) Be able to prioritise and manage work load
Supervision is received from the Project Manager and Technical Support Officers. Generally, the post holder will be left to work on their own initiatives but will report regularly to the Project Manager who will monitor and help to prioritise work.
4. SCOPE FOR IMPACT
This data entry and quality work is part of a larger project within our organisation’s transformation programme. Inputting this data and checking the quality of current data will help to ensure that the benefits of this project can be realised. It is therefore imperative that this data is as accurate and complete as possible to ensure that this can be achieved.
