Email Developer (Part Time)

Job Description

Our client, a Seattle based digital marketing agency, is hiring a contract Email Developer. The Email Developer delivers pixel-perfect email code. They combine design sensibilities with technical expertise to create functional, visually appealing, and user-friendly email communications. This role thrives on building personalized and effective email experiences that stand out in the inbox. You’ll… work with designers, strategists, and campaign tech specialists to code responsive email campaigns, templates, and design systems.
• This is a part time, remote position that will be 10-20 hours/week.

Requirements
• to hand-code HTML & CSS for email or web development. (Must be able to troubleshoot without WYSIWYG assistance.)
• and maintain fully responsive templates, email design systems, individual email campaigns, and modules via best-in-class HTML/CSS.
• with designers to code visually compelling and user-friendly digital interfaces. Ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
• in coding modules for multiple email service providers and marketing automation platforms including, but not limited to Responsys, Iterable, Braze, Cordial, SFMC, etc.
• with UI/UX design principles and tools, such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• to work autonomously, with impeccable attention to detail.
• thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix issues. Ensure quality rendering in email clients using Email on Acid or Litmus and live testing.
• assets for speed, performance, and deliverability.
• with drag-and-drop tools and guiding clients in best practices.
• thorough documentation of the team’s processes.
• to thrive in a fast-paced, agency environment; self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing deadlines, burn rates, and obtaining necessary approvals.

Qualifications
• to 5+ years of experience coding, testing, and deploying responsive email campaigns.
• experience building productive, positive working relationships with client and internal teams, including cross-functional staff
• of HTML email rendering bugs and workarounds. Experience debugging cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility issues.
• understanding of responsive and interactive emails.

• to create, re-size, and optimize digital images and graphics.

• Ink, LiveClicker, or other personalization automation experience.
