Position Overview:

The Content Marketing Manager is a hands-on role responsible for developing and executing RectorSeal’s content marketing strategy. This includes creating and managing all marketing content that the company produces, such as marketing literature, advertisements, packaging, blog/articles, video scripts, website and emails. With a dual hat as the content custodian and project lead, oversee marketing and product launch campaign, ensuring quality deliverables and measuring results. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of traditional & digital marketing, content creation, and project management, along with the ability to build consensus and collaborate with various stakeholders. This is a remote position, and it can sit anywhere in the continental United states (48 states).

Job Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute the company’s content marketing strategy, with a particular focus on copywriting.

· Work closely with the product team to craft marketing copy verbiage emphasizing product attributes, advantages, and communication points.

· Write marketing literature and advertisement copy, blog posts, articles, social media posts, and emails that are engaging, and error-free with target audiences in mind.

· Conduct keyword research and optimize SEO content for search engines.

· Manage the day-to-day operations of content marketing projects.

· Collaborate with designers and other marketing/eCommerce members to create high-quality content and ensuring that all marketing efforts are coordinated.

· Identify content opportunities, needs, goals, and target audience preferences, as well as align digital and content initiatives with overall business goals.

· Act as a “communications gatekeeper,” by reviewing and editing all content for style, grammar, spelling, syntax, and punctuation, upholding the RectorSeal brand, voice and communications standards.

· Own, manage and update the Company Marketing Content Style Guide for companywide, consistent messaging and communication delivery, both internally and externally.

Minimum Qualifications:

Portfolio Requirement: Must present a collection of writing samples.

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related discipline.

• Content Marketing Expertise: Minimum of 3 years in content marketing, particularly emphasizing copywriting, complemented by robust writing and editing proficiencies.

• Project Management: At least 3 years of hands-on experience, preferably with tools like Lytho, Workfront, or Jira.

• Marketing Acumen: 3 years or more in Marketing or Product Marketing.

• SEO Mastery: At least 1 year of hands-on experience with SEO tools, notably SEMrush.

• Software Proficiency: Fluent in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• AI Familiarity: Acquaintance with AI-driven writing tools, such as ChatGPT.

• Industry-Specific Experience: Demonstrable background in B2B manufacturing marketing.

• Creativity & Branding: An innovative mindset with a sharp focus on details; capability to ideate fresh concepts while ensuring brand uniformity across online mediums.

• Interpersonal Skills: Effective collaboration aptitude, fostering strong connections with varied teams and stakeholders.

• Work Dynamics: Comfortable in both autonomous settings and collaborative team

Work Environment:

Office: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an office environment. Occasionally, the employee will be exposed to a warehouse environment and will be required to wear appropriate PPE. RectorSeal has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position.

Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the CSWI Board of Directors.
