About the Role

The Digital Building Governance Program Manager, who is responsible for overseeing and coordinating digital building audit projects for the Bay Area Region. This role involves working with a team of professionals, including CBRE Project Managers, and coordinating vendor resources to ensure the successful execution of building audits and projects. The Digital Building Governance Program Manager is also responsible for providing regular status updates and reports to the Global Remediation Leader.

The role is based in the US region and is remote. No frequent travel anticipated but may be required on an exceptional basis.

What You’ll Do

  • Support all Digital Existing Building requirements, supporting client’s Building Operating Systems (BOS). The Digital Existing Building program is a component of BOS, to focus on security. The programs’ key objective is to enhance the cyber-security of the Client offices throughout the global portfolio, in compliance with the client’s Digital Building Standards.

  • The BOS REWS SPM is responsible for managing relationships and coordinating with the Regional Workplace Service Manager Lead and all local Workplace Managers, Surveyors (for the audit), Controls Subject Matter Experts, and data governance resources, planning, tracking progress and milestones.

Key Responsibilities Digital Building Governance Program Manager (Bay Area)

  • Lead and oversee projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and in accordance with established standards and guidelines. Oversight and guidance will also need to be provided to the supporting data governance team. .

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and accuracy of reporting by establishing rigorous quality control processes and reviewing audit reports, this also includes working closely with a data governance team to ensure device data is captured correctly and efficiently

  • Further development and maintenance of established program processes including the Engagement Model to incorporate lessons learned and to remain compliant with client requirements

  • Ongoing review of program governance and reporting tools and templates to drive continuous improvement and to harness opportunity for further efficiencies for program delivery.

  • Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance process and efficiency.

  • Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular status updates and reports to senior leadership, summarizing project progress, key findings, and recommendations.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including facility managers, to ensure alignment with audit objectives and outcomes.

  • Coordinate and work with the relevant stakeholders in determining the priority and order of buildings to be audited.

  • Manage deliverables (where required), using client supplied platforms.

  • Prepare, manage and update the program monitor program timeline and escalate if program delays arise.

  • Work with the regional Workplace Service Technical Lead and local Workplace Manager teams to obtain necessary material required before the audits (Building information, O&M Manuals, As-built drawings).

  • Chair meetings (where required) developing the agreed agenda, confirming the required attendees and agreeing outputs and issuing minutes and actions for each meeting.

  • Manage the flow of information so that the required input is available and can be presented to the client to make informed decisions.

  • Work with the client’s Full Time Employee owners of the program, to progress and develop projects, in direction of the overall BOS goal of “Value at scale”.

  • Partner with other project departments and team members to ensure all deliverables are completed on time.

  • Work closely with the Digital Building (DB), Workplace Services (WS), Workplace Programs (WP), network stakeholders and Sustainability teams in collaboration with local project stakeholders to ensure clear flow of information and accountability on projects.

  • Own, create and/or contribute to reports and updates as required for tracking progress of the program (e.g. goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets).

  • Identify and escalate any gaps, potential delays or risks to key stakeholders.

  • Attend client meetings and assist with determination of project requirements

  • Resources are onboarded/offboarded. Vendors are completing necessary ongoing security training.

  • Monitor and track change management log.

  • Tracking / identifying, evaluating, and preventing or mitigating risks that will affect the program and or project.

  • Ensure regional projects status is tracked for Global Dashboard reports.

What You’ll Need

  • Experience in Project / Program management with a proactive and very well organized strong work ethic.

  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills working under strict timelines with a flexible attitude.

  • A strong eye for detail and the ability to problem solve/analyze data where necessary.

  • Critical thinking, decision-making, creativity, and information processing.

  • Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.

  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently, proactively and in a team based environment in an open, respectful and fair manner.

  • Experience in managing programme of works and understand and be able to navigate through cultural differences and different work habits.

  • General knowledge and experience in Building systems, MEP, Networking and Smart Buildings areas is preferred.

  • Some IoT Experiences Preferred.

  • Experienced in refresh/refurbishment projects on commercial Offices.

  • Flexibility in the working hours as some occasional “out of office hours” time will be required for Global meetings with the team and the client.

  • Languages: Fluent in English.
