Job Summary:

Are you a detail-loving, number-crunching pro looking for a part-time gig? Nios Spa is on the hunt for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to keep our financial records in top shape! You’ll be the go-to person for managing our purchases, sales, receipts, payments, and payroll. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on accuracy and has insane attention to detail, is extremely proactive, loves organizing, and can work independently with minimal supervision.

We know many of the keywords used here are found on many job postings – detail-oriented, process-oriented, independent worker, etc. – and that they are almost cliché, but we mean it! Key Responsibilities:
• Record Financial Transactions: Enter financial transactions into our accounting software with precision. Every penny needs a home!
• Reconcile Accounts: Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies faster than you can say “balanced books.”
• SOP Builder: Create and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with minimal guidance. You’re the expert here!
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage invoices, process payments, and chase down outstanding invoices like a pro.
• Payroll Processing: Ensure our team is paid accurately and on time, handling wages, deductions, and taxes.
• Maintain Financial Records: Keep our financial records impeccably organized and up-to-date. Audits will be a breeze!
• Prepare Financial Reports: Generate financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) to keep us informed about our financial health.
• Assist with Budgeting: Help prepare budgets and forecasts with data so accurate it’ll make our heads spin.
• Compliance and Audit Support: Ensure we’re always compliant with financial regulations and provide documentation for audits without breaking a sweat.
• Other Duties: Jump into additional bookkeeping tasks as needed. Flexibility is your middle name!

• Experience: Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role. Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks is a huge plus!).

• Detail-Oriented: Ability to get nearly 100% of details correctly without supervisions
• Process Creator: Ability to create, revise, and update bookkeeping processes independently.
• Organized and Timely: Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Communicative: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Independent Worker: Ability to work independently with little oversight and meet deadlines like a champ.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $21.09 – $25.40 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
