We’re seeking a Part-time Payroll Specialist (20-24 hrs per week) to maintain and support our payroll operations by providing payroll information and managing requests. This is a remote role. This position pays up to $29 per hour depending on experience. Your Responsibilities as a Part-time Payroll Specialist: Review and validate weekly timesheets and verify source documents Maintain payroll operations and processes by following policies and procedures, and reporting any necessary changes Build and maintain employee confidence, and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential Process payroll changes and assist with unemployment requests Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive payroll records Collaborate and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results on assigned associated tasks Provide support to Payroll team members with the compilation of and maintenance of high-level standard payroll procedures Utilize your knowledge of Payroll Compliance with Federal and State regulations & guidelines Why you’ll love working for us: Cross-training and the ability to work on a variety of projects Working with the best talent in the industry 1,000+ employee national firm with 50+ locations across the US What we’re looking for: GED or High School Diploma required; Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred Must be available to work on Monday & Tuesday every week for the full day. Must have 3 to 6 years of related corporate payroll experience Experience performing time-sheet review/audit and payroll preparation and processing required A dependable problem solver with a self-motivated work ethic, great organization and written/verbal communication skills, and a strong attention to detail Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, Outlook, Word, etc. Experience with Deltek Vision and/or Kronos Workforce Ready is highly desired and very helpful Interested?
