Pharmacy IT Services is looking for an IT Warehouse Manager to perform a critical role in managing the front-line warehouse team within IT Services. As an integral part of the Pharmacy IT Services team, you will be responsible for designing the warehouse layout & internal logistics routine, optimizing internal logistics operation processes, procedures to continuously improve efficiency, optimizing inventory structure and improving inventory turns to minimize operational cost.

The IT Warehouse Manager position based in Renton, WA supports four Amazon Pharmacy corporate centers throughout the continental US, as well as a remote workforce of over 2500. The IT Warehouse manager drives daily goals and monitors the team to prevent defects, remove roadblocks, and escalate as appropriate. As IT Warehouse Manager, you must be a subject matter expert for all operational functions at the site, able to drive efficiency and productivity. You will work alongside a group of leaders to define the priorities and track the metrics and key performance indicators within the organization. You will hold service owners accountable to resolve issues on behalf of your customers.

Key job responsibilities

  • Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency and overall cost structure
  • Drive complex business analysis to identify business opportunities to improve internal and external processes
  • Work cross functionally to identify and apply best practices and continuous process improvements
  • Develop and implement strategies for maintaining optimum inventory levels
  • Responsible for overall inventory control including process, data systems, and reporting
  • Implement and manage asset management
  • Image laptops for new hire Day 1 and replacement
  • HIPAA compliant data destruction and manage Certificate of Destruction for compliance
  • Automate dashboard and metric reporting
  • Provide scalable solutions for specific issues
  • Set project requirements and drive agendas across internal and external teams
  • Lead strategy, network expansion, and execution of storage, receiving, and shipping operations across warehouse facilities
  • Create the department’s structure while building and overseeing KPI’s, process improvements, and network optimization
  • Responsible for the layout, equipment, and process optimization at sites
  • Responsible for personnel hiring, development, and meeting performance expectations
  • Lead monthly forecasting and reporting
  • Track and report performance metrics and KPIs
  • Evolve and maintain standard operating procedures for processes and systems. Provide recommendations for operational improvements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices and ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Experience in Inventory Management and Inventory Control
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Proven leadership skills with written and verbal communication skills to work internally and externally at all levels of management and with peers
  • Microsoft Office skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with ITIL Framework
  • Experience in making data-driven decisions
  • Demonstrated success at learning and explaining technical processes
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and PHI compliance
  • MBA and/or Advanced Degree
  • Experience in Supply Chain Modelling
  • Knowledge of Lean Concepts
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects – prioritization, planning and task delegation
  • Warehousing, supply chain, inventory management, finance, vendor and/or project management experience
  • Experience working with SQL and Tableau analytics
